The interface between skin and electrodes plays a major role in the accuracy efficiency of biopotential measurements. For reliable biosignal recording, stable low-impedance contact is required target tissue. Conventional wet (Ag/AgCl) are composed metal with skin-adhesive hydrogel. However, for long-term measurement, direct pre-gel electrode causes discomfort irritation, especially infants people sensitive because adhesiveness In this study, low-adhesive reported by exploiting free-standing polymeric ultra-thin film (referred to as “nanosheet”) an intermediate layer at backside electrode, which reduces while allowing surface electromyogram (sEMG) measurement. Intermediate nanosheet made from polystyrene–polybutadiene–polystyrene triblock copolymer (SBS), polystyrene (PS) or polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS) prepared using roll-to-roll gravure coating method. thickness each varied hundreds thousands nanometers, effect on performance evaluated. nanosheet-modified low applied human skin, shows good detect sEMG signals forearm skin-friendly manner.
